Okazaki is our manufacturer for heater cables. They have experience in producing MI cable since 1954 and have been fine-tuning and perfecting the production process ever since. Okazaki works closely with its suppliers to guarantee the best quality of the heating cables.

The head office of Okazaki is located in the city of Kobe in Japan but production takes place in one of the six different Okazaki factories. The factories are located in Akashi, Kobe-Iwaoka, Kobe-Nishi, Fukuoka and Kyusyu Japan and each of them has a different specialization such as heater cable or the automotive industry.

Okazaki can produce M.I. cable with a diameter as small as 0.08 mm up to any size required.

Kamet, our customers and Okazaki are constantly working together to improve the quality of the cable. At the moment, most of the wires for inside the cables are purchased from Isabellenhütte (in Germany) and the majority of the tubes come from Europe. This way, Okazaki can provide high quality cable for a competitive price.

Okazaki is ISO 9001 and 14001 certified amongst many other certificates.

ARi Industries

ARi Industries Inc. in Addison Illinois is a subsidiary of Okazaki. Because of their expertise, ARi is our main partner for customized mineral insulated heaters. This involves customized complete elements or heating cables.

ARi was established in 1952 as Aero Research Instruments. They were one of the first companies to perfect the production of M.I. cable. One of their most important trademarks is the usage of high purity MgO in all of their M.I. cable. Furthermore, due to their many years of experience, all products in their standard product range are supplied according to ASTM E-230 limits of error.

One of ARi's specializations is the high temperature heaters. In short, ARi is able to find the perfect industrial heater solution. Small diameters or high resistance are no problem for them. ARi took part in the NASA mission in sending the robot Curiosity to Mars. ARi produced the heaters used in the robot.
